Transparent planning

A realistic path
from idea to pilot.

An eight-week indicative MVP plan. These milestones are proposed—not a claim that engineering work, Azure deployment or customer pilots have already occurred.

Proposed build phases

Keep the first version focused.

A step-by-step roadmap designed to turn product hypotheses into tested functionality.

PHASE 0
Before engineering

Validate the problem and authorization

Confirm the company has approved the project, interview target customers and document workflows. Verify product name and licensed development tools.

WEEKS 1–2
Foundations

Workspace, users and requests

Configure the SaaS foundation, model customer and request data, and implement organization-specific access rules.

WEEKS 3–4
Core operations

Assignments and approvals

Build request views, team ownership, status transitions, approval decisions and an activity history.

WEEKS 5–6
Delivery foundation

Alerts, files and Azure deployment

Implement notifications, securely store attachments and deploy an internal MVP to an appropriately owned Azure subscription.

WEEKS 7–8
Pilot testing

Test, learn and refine

Run practical workflow tests with consenting pilot teams; prioritize fixes and document the actual product state.

Success criteria

Make progress
measurable.

Early milestones should be linked to product evidence, not just polished presentation materials.

  • One request can flow end to end
  • Roles and data access are tested
  • Approvals retain decision history
  • Pilot teams can use it unaided
